Nivek Tek has been involved in the music and Dance Music industry for many years as a songwriter, vocalist and producer. He has worked in various fields of the music industry such as; marketing, management, promotion, production and A&R. Nivek started his career as owner and publisher of the grassroots magazine, Unique Magazine, covering the Club and Dance Music scene. He also wrote several articles for important industry publications such as DMA (Dance Music Authority). He has also run several successful dance music-oriented companies over the years including Dance Zone Productions, Rocket Fuel, Import Sound & Vision (music video promotion & production) and now PROMO RUSH (formerly ISV Promotions) his record label ISV Entertainment, showcases some hot new European talents. He currently is writing, remixing and producing music in Sweden as well as the US, where he currently resides. With many ideas and marketing concepts under his belt, Nivek plans to conquer the Dance Music world full force.

Nivek Tek's first solo release is a remake of Erasure's "A Little Respect" available now on ITUNES and CD Baby with many remixes by Steamweaver, Klubjumpers, Kompulsor and more! His NEW soon to be released single "Hold Me Now" is a high octane re-imagining of the 80's classic by Thompson Twins. Nivek has decided to explore his harder and darker side. He is currently writing his debut album as an EBM/Industrial artist. This new project TERRORTEK X is a very dark and disturbing look into the mind and soul of this rather eclectic, multi talented artist. "I know that this will be a shock to the system for everybody , especially fans of my pop/dance club sound, but I have to be true to my evolution and follow my heart, even if it takes me to the darkest, deepest, most terrifying recesses of my soul. I blame it on the Gemini in me, I believe that energy is taking me to new and exciting places and I'm totally ready for the adventure. I know that this is a complete departure to the sound people are used to hearing from me. It is dark, shocking, angry, sometimes violent and disturbing, but I feel it is a true testament to my life and personal experiences. I wanted to create something that would not only mess with people's minds, but would also get people to think and to feel. I truly believe that the ability to evoke thought and emotion from your listeners is true art, and I think that is what I have achieved with this project."

It is a good thing to not limit yourself as an artist or stifle your creativity. I mean if tomorrow I decide that I should be making polka or country, well then, hell I'll do it!...but ..don't hold your breath for me to make those styles. There's nothing wrong with them, they just aren't my bag baby, but.. ya never know..I might completely lose my mind or something and then..all bets are off!...The point is..You got to be open-minded and well-rounded as an artist!"

Nivek Tek started out as one of the infamous Klub Kids haunting some of the hottest clubs in clubland with his bizarre yet fabulous costumes and his outrageous antics. These days Nivek has traded in his glitz and glam for a more subdued look and lifestyle, managing to keep the soul of his club persona without missing a beat. Nivek has become an international icon as a singer/songwriter, producer, remixer and DJ. He also manages the International dance and club music record label ISV Entertainment and is CEO of PROMO RUSH (formerly ISV Promotions), which for 13 years, has been the primer dance and electronic promotions companies in the US. PROMO RUSH has earned a great deal of international acclaim and respect by promoting some of the biggest artists and labels in the music business, such as, Armin Van Buuren, Cascada, ATB, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Blank & Jones and Bananarama, (just to name a few).

As a HUGE fan of 80's music, Erasure being one of his favorites, it is no surprise that his debut record would be a cover of "A Little Respect" that featured 80's Hi-NRG Diva Carol Hahn. Nivek is still riding the retro express with his HOT new single "Hold Me Now". Mr. Nivek ("I Love The 80's") Tek is back, this time updating the Thompson Twins' "Hold Me Now". This clever re-imagining not only pays tribute to the timeless Thompson Twins classic, but gives it an updated, contemporary twist. Nivek's new wave- esque, soulful vocals not only pay tribute to Thompson Twins vocalist Tom Bailey, but also take on a special unique sound of their own.
