SPY IS REALLY FUN!!!

SPY IS REALLY FUN!!!
Melissa McCarthy is once again, hysterical in the action/adventure comedy " Spy". She stars alongside two very hot men, Jude Law and Jason Statham. There is also a lot of very unexpected penis action, from a hot redheaded evil spy.

So, to recap, Melissa McCarthy, hot men and penis's.. my kind of movie!!!

THE REAL O'NEALS..I Love Shannon!

THE REAL O'NEALS

I think that Shannon from the hit TV show, "The Real O'Neals" brought up a good point about the bible and religion. "if Adam and Eve were the first people on earth, then where did Cain and Able's wives come from?". Shannon's mother was trying to force her to get confirmed but Shannon, being the uber-curious type, had some questions first..She asked questions that had her devout, Irish catholic mother stumped, so she sought help for her daughter from a priest in their church. After spending just a little time with Shannon and her endless barrage of theological questions, she had the priest fleeing the house like in the movie "The Exorcist".

MOVIE REVIEW: UNFRIENDED

MOVIE REVIEW: UNFRIENDED
EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING MOVIE TO WATCH!
I just watched "Unfriended". If you thought that found footage movies was hard to watch, try watching this mess. It was so painfully hard to try to read and see every single message that was being typed. For 90 minutes you get to see just skype and computer screens, jumping around from post to post and accessing pages, messages, etc.. It is enough to drive you out of your mind. To make things more authentic, there is tons of images freezing up, distortion and Pixelization.

Though the idea was clever, unless you are watching this directly in front of your computer, it is not enjoyable at all to watch. Think about how much fun it is to read subtitles in a movie, now increase that by 100.

I guess the ghost of the friend came back to exact revenge on her friends that caused her death?

Though it was intense and clever, it was far too painful to watch. I would never watch it again. I totally have a headache now.

I'm totally in lust with the father "Pat" (Jay R. Ferguson) the hit TV show, "The Real O'Neals" !!!

MOVIE REVIEW: YOU'RE NEXT

HOME ALONE MEETS LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT?
What started off looking like a complete rip off of "The Strangers" soon turned into "Last House On The Left" which then turned into "MacGyver" meets "Home Alone" for the horror genre.

I think where "You're Next" went wrong, was when they revealed the killers and the plot too early. Though we do not get the full murderous confession until near the ending, you'd have to be pretty stupid not to figure it out, once they revealed the mastermind behind the killings, early on.

I think it would have been much better, creepier and more effective, if they did not reveal the big plot "twists" until the end. I think they totally missed the mark on what could have been a much better movie. "The Strangers" was a brilliant movie, because you did not ever really see the killers unmasked faces until the end, and by then, it didn't even matter what they looked like under the masks , because they were complete strangers, that had absolutely no motive for the mass murders, except that "they were home".

Though I loved Sharni Vinson's character Erin, it was a little over the top and unbelievable, that this one feisty Aussie woman was like a highly skilled ninja and a one woman A Team? I think the writers knew her character was totally unbelievable, so they made up the " I was raised in a survivalist compound" to try to make some sense out of it.

I think the funniest part of the movie, was the fact that it could have easily been called "Look Who's Coming To Dinner". I guess these scheming brothers, after their families inheritance, did not count on one of their girlfriends being a highly trained survivalist?

My favorite kill, was when Erin took the blender, shoved the blender ,blade and all, into the cute brothers head, plugged it it and turned it on. Now, that's what I call "scrambled brains"..lol

All in all, it was an enjoyable, edge of your seat, movie but nothing new, exciting or creative.

MOVIE REVIEW: MY SWEET AUDRINA

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I JUST WATCHED????
Has anyone seen or read V.C. Andrews " My Sweet Audrina"?
I'm totally confused, so if you saw the movie or read the book, please let me know if I'm right.

The father, Damian Jonathan Adare, played by the HOT James Tupper (Revenge/Resurrection) ( who strangely never ages?) has an affair with his wife's sister and fathers a child, Vera. Though he refuses to acknowledge her as his child. Damian feels guilty for cheating on his wife with her sister and a sense of responsibility for his child Vera, so he allows them to live in his house. The sister becomes his housekeeper and occasional lover. Vera resents and hates Audrina. She acts out to try to get her fathers attention but Vera is one of the first dark, hidden secrets. When Audrina was 9 years old, Vera orchestrated a rape and beating to take place on Audrina. Arden Lowe, only 11 years, witnesses the rape but is too young to prevent it. Why he keeps Audrina's rape a secret I do not understand?
When Audrina's parents find her raped and beaten in the woods, they decide that she is dead to them. They go as far as to pretend to bury her in the cemetery, gravestone and all. The parents can't deal with their 9 year old daughter having lost her innocence, so they lock her in in the house for years, never allowing her to leave the grounds, in an insane attempt to protect her and keep her pure and innocent. They try to brainwash her into believing that she had a little sister, also named Audrina, who was raped and murdered in the woods at 9 years old. They even visit her gravestone together.

The father and mother force Audrina to live in the shadow of her dead sister, which is really her. When Audrina, brilliantly played by India Eisley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager ) gets older, she continues to have visions of her dead sister. After the mother dies, the father, Damian , becomes even more overprotective and refuses to let her out of the house, even going as far as to lock her up in her dead sisters childhood room. After Vera kills her own mother for pretending that she was not Damian's child, seduces Audrina's hot husband Arden Lowe, played by William Moseley ( The Royals) and then tries to murder Audrina, not once but twice, the secret comes out. Vera is Damian's child and she resented Audrina for being the sister who got all the love and attention. So, a mentally unstable Vera grows up with revenge on her mind. She vows to get even with "anyone who ever made her cry".

Damian goes into a rage and lunges towards Vera but Vera, falls backwards down the stairs and dies. It turns out, there was only ever one Audrina. The whole time I thought the father murdered Vera's mother and Audrina but it was just a series of events hatched by the vengeful Vera.

So, my question is, am I correct? Is that what happened? Also, who killed Audrina's mother? Did she fall and have a miscarriage, bleeding to death , while panicking about seeing Audrina going into the woods? Was it a tragic accident? Did Vera kill her mother's sister. Did Vera's mother kill her own sister? I'm really not 100% sure what I watched???? why did Arden Lowe, keep Audrina's rape a secret I do not understand? So, if anyone could set me straight, that would be great. Thank you.

AN UNDISCOVERED TREASURE...GREAT SYNTHPOP ALBUM

AN UNDISCOVERED TREASURE...GREAT SYNTHPOP ALBUM
Every so often, once in a blue moon, you come across a rare gem. I stumbled upon this synthpop duo, quite by accident. Just like other influential synthpop legends like Red Flag or Cause and Effect, Roger and Randy Rose are also brothers. Though they have a secret that might make you turn up your noses at first, I can assure you that Mad At The World is definitely worth the listen. I was first introduced to Mad at The World by hearing some tracks on college radio many years ago. From their wild hair and make up, (borrowing some fashion tips from The Damned's Dave Vanian) to the deep, gothic vocals from Dave Rose, to the high flying synths throughout most of their debut album Mad At The World If Wayne Hussey ( Mission UK) was to do an all out synth-driven tribute to the best new wave 80's artists, this is what it might have sounded like. Mad At The World exploded onto the college radio scene with their debut, self titled album "Mad At The World" in 1987. They had the look, the sound and the power to be as successful as many of the top synthpop and new wave acts at that time or ever their predecessors. Sadly, because of their "secret" , which did not stay a "secret" for too long, they were ignored and passed over by many mainstream radio stations and DJ's. To this day, both their debut album "Mad At The World" and their incredible follow up album "Flowers In The Rain" in 1988, will go down as two of the best but most undiscovered treasures to ever hit the new wave and synthpop world. Mad At The World pays homage to some of the best artists and bands to come out of the 80's, such as Pet Shop Boys, The Cult , New Order,Human League, Depeche Mode, to name a few.
"Mad At The World" is one of the most synth-driven and danceable synthpop albums to ever come out of clubland.
Their unique, strong, melodic and danceable songs will move your feet while their thought provoking and powerful message will fill your soul. Usually, I would not be caught dead listening to bands that fall into this particular "category" but good music is just simply good music. Mad At The World is an amazing band and both "Mad The World" and "Flowers In The Rain" are fantastic albums. They bring back that feeling of listening to an album from start to finish, with no filler and barely missing a single beat. Both of these albums are a must and should be in any serious synthpop and 80's fan's collection. Sadly after these two albums, their sound went to complete crap and is totally unlistenable. They lost their magic. If they should ever revisit their classic retro sound, I'll be first in line to buy the album but for now, I have my memories and these too fabulous albums to curb my hunger. Keep an open mind and check out the whole album here. You will wonder how you ever missed this undiscovered treasure.
