MOVIE REVIEW: ATM
WTF?????
I just saw the horror/thriller ATM last night. I
really enjoyed it. It took you back to movies like Halloween that had the
"scare" factor that doesn't rely heavily on blood and gore but more
on what you don't see. Like in Blair Witch Project, they set the stage for your
own mind to create the terror.
However, though very pretty, these have to be the
three stupidest people on the planet. They made every bad decision that you
could possibly make. The ending was extremely frustrating, especially since it
left it wide open for a sequel, yet that was 2012, it is now 2016, I sincerely
doubt that there will be one.
The ending is right up there with Black Christmas
(original, not the blasphemous remake) and Final Exam. At the end you just say
WTF did I just watch and you end up very frustrated with all of the loose ends.
Still, it was a nail biter and edge of your seat
thriller. So, if you don't care if a movie makes sense or love to yell at the
screen and tell the characters how stupid they are, you'll love this movie.
